Hi i'm looking for some nice pre-soaked pieces of lava rock and or driftwood for my 180 SA/CA cichlid tank. Also i'm looking for some fine black sand or preferably fine white sand. Thank you

I'm in san diego

do you have petland out there?
or aquarium adventures?
cause they alway have them out here in the middle of nowhere, midwest.

my lfs have them but there to much per pound and there little heavy pieces... i wanted like cheap pre-soaked ones. I was looking for some of the huge pieces.

Sand is fine for cichlids in a SA/CA setup. What kind of driftwood are you looking for? Malaysian? African Root? Manzanita?

I have a large piece of african root I've been trying to trade for plants or used powerheads.

well how far away are you from serra messa in Socal? Are you looking for live plants? I have some bana lotus, java fers, java moss, either hair grass, or micro sword, i think a little bit of madagascar lace, some anibia barteri, amazon sword... I dont have large amounts because there in a 12 gallon but with proper lighting and substrate they will grow even from small amounts. Some are a little torn because i have baby Clown Loached but there constantly growing more leaves/branches(i dont know what to cal them)

I might be able to help ya out on the drift wood. I'm going after work today to check out some large pieces from a freind of mine. Also, on the lava rock, checkhttp://www.rcpblock.com/ out RCP:
I buy from them what they call "pot rock" It's a type of lava rock. Think last time I paid 25$ for 180lbs :headbang2
