ive been lookn for one for atleast a month now.
i remebered at this time they should be in season by now.
smaller sized preferred.
not interested if it is shipped because dont wanna pay an extra 50 to be shipped.
anyone have one by chance???
or any lfs have them in stock!
i really want one!!
 
tong, that aro i told u about that my lfs had that i thought was a jardini, well guess what it was but its not there anymore... it was only 119
 
I went searching for Datnoids yesterday and did not find any : (

I did notice small sized Jardini arowana at a few of the shops on valley blvd in san gabriel.
I believe that is what you are looking for? They were 4"!!

Try:

Lee's aquarium 319 E. Garvey 626 571 4982 (not the cleanest shop in San Gabriel)

Also on Valley BL.
SUNSET Pets (I'm not sure on the address) but if your coming east on Valley bl from Rosemead it is about 1-2 miles on your left. They have another shop in Los Angeles and they can be reached at (213) 482-9131.

This is a clean shop with some nice and unusual fish in stock!

Had some huge freshwater puffer 4" for 19.99. They also have all sorts of exotic plecos and catfish not usually found in many local shops.

well i gave them a call. they dont have any leichartdi. they only have jardinis.. but sunset did say that the wholesaler is closed right now because its a holiday. but they will open up after new years and they should be getting some in. sounds like good news :)
 
By the way do you know of any place selling Widebar dats locally?

I found a 6-7" but the shop was asking $500 for it! It is too big for my tank and out of my price range!

what?!?!?!? 500 for a 6-7 inch widebar!??!?! thats too crazy. well i dont think that u will find a widebar in any lfs they are not around and prolly wont be around anymore. ur best luck is to wait for someone on the boards to sell theirs and scoop it up.

Bro I have been looking for a lot longer than a month with no success. If you were to find one that had to be shipped I would not pass it up. Who knows when we will see them with any regularity.

My LFS is selling JARDiNi with nice blue shade.
at 2 inches for $29.99

its called YO's Aquarium.
located on Van Ness and Santa Monica BLVD.
