I am looking for mature fish 5+ inches.
A nice female ,I am open on color.
I have a male(I think) it is over 7" I would guess close to 9".
not counting streamers

I think yours is in fact a female. The long fins are not a good male-indicator in this species.

Has your midas lived alon it's whole life? Meaning no other midas... If so then more than likely it's a male. Read this:
