WTB mid to large window air conditioner/ please help!!!

like the title says we are in need of an ac unit, the central air went out and landlord wont have it fixed until he gets back into town from mexico plus he wants multiple quotes cuz the guy we found to estimate the repair asked him for 2000. I am looking for donation first cuz we dont have alot of money but we can afford to pay something if you have one cheap. any offers will be taken as attempt to help our situation with two young kids in the house, so it will be greatly appreciated.

thanks, and I agree it is shady when he's over in Rosarito cuz he just had a new house built that was just competed this week so he's out there breaking it in. BTW still shopping for an AC. Thanks to those who have already responded.
