Looking for some smaller Pacu, looking to get a couple. Willing to meet up, or pay for shipping. Located North of Orlando. Thanks

You can unfortunately find them in most pet stores, even chains. Are you sure you really want and are ready for a couple?

Oh I wasn't aware of that. To be honest I haven't ventured off to many pet stores around my area. I currently have a 90 gallon cycling, and I have two 30 gallons that have been established for about 4 months now and I was looking to get some smaller ones to put in my smaller tanks and eventually put them into my 90 gallon, with some other bigger fish as well. If that's the case then, I'll try to figure out how to remove my post. Thanks for the information. Kind of embarassing haha. Oh well...

Just to let you know, you don't have a tank big enough for them for more than a few months. The size, mess and destructive power of these are why so few people like them. When I had them mine grew from about 3 inches to over 18 in less than a year. Once they reach a certain size they are about impossible to rehome as well.

Ok thank you for the information. I supposed a mod can remove this thread. I will do some more research. Thanks again.

Aren't they wild in south Florida

I don't think there is a large breeding population but you will find them as many others because irresponsible keepers dump unwanted fish just as they do reptiles. Then they cry when the government starts putting restrictions on species.
