Give Fish Palace a shot. Last time I was there, about a month ago, they had a few large ones.

ya, fish palace has two monos left that are close to 8". asking price was $65 ea.

i was there a month ago, i think they had like 2 left including big oscars, fh's, aro's...not so sure if they still have em'. give em a call. the owner of the shop is real nice...he also lets me catch my own fish :)

the only aro they have left is the 2.5" silver. they still have the wild oscar and a couple more as well as the bigger monos. The owner is nice and it's one of the best stores in the area. I asked him if he could do any better on the smaller "marbled achara" and he bumped the price down a little right away and asked me which one I wanted. I was asking for a better price on the smaller one, but he didn't catch that. Although, they were $15 a piece cheaper when they first got them in a few months ago.

i didn't think the oscar was wild...can they confirm that
It has the colors of a wild oscar and a few eye spots on the dorsal, which CB oscars usually do not exhibit. They didn't say it was wild-caught, but it sure looks like it to me.

there were actually 2 wild O's.

did you buy one of those, bigten? I was just in there and they only had 1 left.
