you should check with richard (infinite aquatics). hes always got some nice pleco's for cheaper than store prices.

I don't really think there is a pleco that is not a common, that is 6-8", that is under 25$.

I do not much about pleco. I used to have four common plecos and I gave three away to someone because they are getting so big. The one, I kept died two days ago. Now, I need another one and most of them at the store are very small. I have just checked on the web, you are right some plecos are very expensive. I will check infinite aquatics.com. Where is the location?

Most places will carry medium sized Gibbiceps plecos, they grow quickly anyway.
