I was planning to buy a fancy betta from one of those guys in thailand like that seller there, does anyone know if they're reputable or not? I thought a saw a post claiming they're scams ie. people never got their fish or money back.
I've seen that. It's $25!!! Yeeesh. I also don't know how much I trust those Thailand-ish Sellers...
I got two betta's from a seller in Thailand once... I would strongly suggest only buying if you can pay through paypal. That way you have some kind of gaurantee that if you don't get your fish then you can get your money back. Moneygram and Western Union don't give you a gaurantee. And once they ship it to the trans-shipper then you have to pay the trans-shipper to ship it to you and they also usually ship on set dates so you might buy that fish today but the seller might not ship for another week or so if you missed the ship date then it will wait til the next one.
