What makes the diff between brycon and Gold at under 10"?

nice choice; but not an easy find...GL homie that would be a SIC collection brotha..

brycons are a common characin fish stores carry them from time to time ..But just a salminus is your tank is sheer just BAD!!!!! you can find a brycon on most fish lists IMO...A real dorado is hard to find these days...ANd going to be a little bit of money..

The tail marking. Ted had one before. I was going to pick it up on Monday, but his Gulper cockblocked me over the weekend. They're not imported so often, but they're not rare as GATF or Armatus. Just have to wait for the right moment :D

You can forget the word "multiple" :grinno: You're lucky if he doesn't go after your other fish ;)

when small can shoal but once it hits a certain size 8'' on ,like i said anything torpedoish and silver is TOAST......

Dorado come from Southern SA in countries like Paraguay, Argentina, Boliva, and southern Brazil. Fish are rarely imported from Paraguay and Argentina due to the logistics. Bolivia, if Im not mistaken does not allow the export of live fish. That leaves you the ones found in Brazil. Much like Argentina and PAraguay fish arent collected often from southern Brazil because of how far they have to travel unlike fish collected from Peru or Columbia that can be in Miami in just a few short hours.

GL on your search. Dorado are really one of the baddest fish around!

Man, you guys are making me want one more and more. Ive always wanted a fish that swims like a dolphin and is a mean SOB but has to have teeth.
Although Dorado has lil teeth, he has teeth and the rest of the
profile fits:drool:

All this time I thought Goliath and Armatus were the best. Thats why I got them.....mmmmmm think im ganna kick them to the curb little by little till I can get a Dorado now:naughty:
