WTB small flathead catfish

Wrong time of year to find them and even in the right time of year they are VERY difficult to come by. Back in the spring there were some on eBay and rarely but sometimes available on Aquabid. A few of our vendors have had them for sale in the past but I don't recall any in the last few years available, I think

Agree with Trent above - they are offered exceedingly rarely. In 10 years, I've come across one or two offerings and those were larger fish than 3"-4".
I'd like to get one too.

I had over 40,000 blue and flathead catfish fingerlings up for sale a while back. I only sold 1. The cats were finally released into noodling areas and farm ponds except for a few that I kept.

Oddball is legendary for mind-blowing fits like this one and others but this also shows you the level of interest in these fish. Exceedingly low demand, and hence, an offer to match... which may be hard to comprehend. I mean why MFKers as a community aim to keep so many species of large exotic catfish from RTC, TSN, wels, leerii, to goonch and Asian red tail catfish but look down at flatheads.
The "exotic" part excites us and we don't appreciate what's under our noses.
