I build a 7' L X 2' W X 3' H stand for my 210 gallon tank out of 4x4's and 2x4's and it came out real sturdy but didn't coast me that much. I spent just under 100$ for wood (already had some when i made it so prob would have coast a lil over 100), less then 10$ for screw and wood filler so u cant see them, and about 40$ worth of primer (i think about 6 cans, one coat only if you can tell). It has been great for almost a year now, i could have put a boarder or lights or ran the wires flush or doors or routed the edges to give it a nice trim like on a fancy desk. If your trying to save money and want to build it, id say its worth it and would coast less for a 125. I could tell you exactly how i built it. But if you were interested i should be building one for a 60 gal and 180 gal pretty soon. They are just paying me for larbor and any extra work they want done to it. Here is a picture of it. Would have came out nicer if i sanded it and added one more coat of primer. http://www.oneupracing.net/fish/s1.jpg http://www.oneupracing.net/fish/s1.jpg
