Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I'm looking to move a10X3X3 glass tank from Pennsylvania to Maryland. Moving companies seem to be too expensive or they don't want to do it.

The tank is 3/4 inch glass, so it weighs about 1,700 pounds.

Local friends have said a couple of hydraulic lift tables would help (I have to go up 3 stairs into my house). Nobody seems to rent them.

Other suggestions, other than get 15 people to help lift it?

Ur best bet use a pro mover attest to get ir into a uhaul and then get another to help get it inside. Its a far distance between both states so get 2 separate companies, one in each location. Drive it ueself with a uhaul or long bed p/u. Uhaul is probably safer.

Pay the extra money and hire a moving company that way you’ll have their insurance to fall back in in case of damage

How do u get it onto the hydraulic lift??? Lol
Get all u r buddies then get some people(day labourers from home depot) and mo e it. It took me 7 people, so yours might take 12-13.

still for sale?
tbh, sell the current tank, and buy a new tank. you might be paying many times over just to move this thing. might be better to invest in an acrylic tank, and have it shipped to you.
