Description:
Decided to set up a 275g cube I have sitting in the garage and need a sump and pump. Went to lfs but they were over priced so here I am looking to you guys. If anyone has one for sale shoot me the dimensions and price of the items. Was going to custom make one but just don't have the time for it at the moment.

If its for reef, keep searching or try john over at advancedacrylics (hes in SoCal and its possible to save on shipping if you pick up).

If for freshwater, just use an empty tank. No need for all the fancy compartments. Keep it simple and place a powerhead in the sump so nothing settles.

275 cube sounds awesome! I've recently been drawn to cube style tanks

It's freshwater so the most high tech would be a filter sock to catch particles. I'm guessing the sump would need baffles correct.

Nope, baffles are not needed. Really depends on what's going into the sump by way of media.
Kaleness or bioballs, yes you'll need some type of baffle.
Ceramic rings, nope. Best way to use them is by placing them in a women's garment for drying clothes. This makes it super easy to move them to do your 1-2 time maintenance per year (powerhead could eliminate that). Try and keep return/drain on opposite sides of the sump, you are good.

You can even use it as a growout tank, that's how my old 300gl was setup before I plumbed a 18 long frag tank.
