i am looking to buy a black female convict. I am looking for a high quality, colorful convict around 1-2". i was wondering if there is a vendor that is selling them. I live in kalamazoo, Michigan. If you have any pictures that would be great.

im not going to petco to get a hybrid. I saw a orange finned convict from jeff rapps. Deep sea is closed down. i was looking for something like a black but maybe a little different. i dont like marble or the pink. I was also thinking about getting a rotkeil severum.
Pink cons are not all that bad, there just never seems to be nice ones anymore

true, but I have found that the ones sold in the big stores (PetsMart, Petco) to be pretty bland, not much color . . . the LFS near me had some that were much better looking, had darker stripes and more color on the fins . . .

ya my local pet shop have them but they are really bad looking and dont have much color. I found jeff rapps has 2-2.5" f1 convicts that i think i might get. They look pretty good. Does jeff rapps have a minimum order on fish?
A convicts a convict. You're wasting your time looking for a special convict IMO unless you're really interested in breeding some wild ones or a calico or something. If you ever come to this side of the state I have a nice 2-3" female if you want her.
