Wtf a carnivorous pleco species!!!

ok so i was reading in one of my fish books, and here is what it says:
Giant Whiptail Pleco
size 12-14 inches
diet it eats small crustaceans fish and other smaller organisms
tank size 75+gallons
compatibility never keep with fish smaller then 2.5 inches as it will eat them, or bottom dwellers as it will attack them if they venture into its territory
habits this armored catfish will bury itself with just its eyes showing, then ambush any smaller creatures that ventures too close. they will setup territories and will aggresively defend them
is this true?

ive heard of this pleco however it seems wen u try to find out more about this guy most sellers or knowledgable persons will act as if it doesnt exist

its worth about 300 bucks nation wide but only 120 around smaller business
P.S. i dont know how to find but ive heard their rare but easy to track nd find

well, it DOES eat fully grown brine shrimp and bloodworms

the book is from 2009!!! and i have found them for sale, they where like 200$ i will take a picture of them in the book, they look awesome, like a beefed up whiptail with huge bony plates on their sides
