Came home to see this. I don't know if its ich or something else, but I'm going to bump temp and add salt right away, and water change. Should I do any additional treatment like a medication?? Thanks!

Also, I can only see it on two of my fish, my bahia kelberi and my cichla ocel. The other fish in the tank do not appear to have it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does look like the beginnings of ich. The other fish will get it also probably. I use kosher salt, and up my temperature to high 80s. Works for me everytime. I mix the salt in a blender to disolve it before adding to tank. Do not pour on the fishes ,pour it in opposite end of tank from the fish.

thanks for the info, i just did a 50% water change, bumped temp up to 86 and added salt. Thanks again!

yup high heat and maybe a half dose of nox ich wouldn't hurt.

I'm not sure if I can get nox ich locally, I'm thinking a half dose of some other ich medicine that contains malachite green?
