I just got a pair of fish I won on ebay. I definately will not be doing that again! I obviously did not get the fish I won and the seller is no longer registered. Anyway here is a pic. Pic is of the female. The fish is also still in the bag. The male looks the same except its male (longer fins ect.)

Oh man... Deff not SRTs... SRTs are Super Red Texas. Those are regular.
 
it's not just a carpinte, it has a flowerline. Probably just a carpinte X flowerhorn. File a case against the dude with paypal and say you a.) received the wrong item or b.) say you never received it. They'll refund your money.
 
Yeah I know, NOT SRT! Paid over 200.00 not including shipping. I filed with paypal but I am not going to hold my breath! What really stinks is that a have a NICE pair of Carpintis growing out. These almost look like a cross. I will get a better pic of them once they are in the Q-tank.
 
Unfortunately I have been this route with paypal and ebay before although not with fish. Since I did recieve the package with tracking I can not file as not recieved. I can file as not as described but would have to prove it. Also they are no longer a registered user. Probably just stuck with them either way!
 
Loooks similar to some FHxTX that i bred a few years back.. Sorry it didn't turn out to be the SRT you paid for.. Hope you can get your $$$ back..
