wtf is this on my baby snakehead!?

Hey guys, first post here

So i picked up these two giant snakehead babys at the shop a couple of weeks ago, on one of them i noticed som white stuff coming out its ass, i called the shop owner and he said i should wait it out it was prop nothing.

And now it just happened again and looks like this. :eek: ive been searching around for awhile, is it tape worm? or some other parasite?

been feeding them bloodworms, small tetras, and small mollys. its eating good and looking happy.

That looks like internal parasites. I'm not sure what its called.. but my fish had it before. I fed my fish Epsom salt soaked pellets and it cleared the parasites out. I'm not sure how you would do that to a Snakehead though..
 
I think it is a bad internal parasite. First u have to take it to a expert to decide what it is. (flatworm, roundworm, etc.) and then the medication. Most medication is some sort of food. I dont think much help from here.
 
It is tape worms. You have to treated with dewormer. You can use Prazipro or the tape worm pill for cats. If you use the tape worm pill for cats, you have to use a small portion of the pill and put it inside a feeder fish and let it swallow it. The worms will all come out the next day. If nothing comes out the next day, the pill must have fell out of the feeder fish. You should net out the white tape worms right away. Good Luck.
 
all red snakeheads has tapeworm up the kazoo. try piperzine or prazipro as mentioned. Very easy to administer, just inject a feeder with the stuff and watch the enema fireworks!
