WTF is with my Kribs?

So I bought a pair of kribs in hopes of them breeding, about a week and a half ago and the whole time they have been in my tank they have just kind of layed around on the bottom and not done much.

I watched them in the petstore and they were very active and in breeding mode, but in my tank they are lame and just lay around. The females colors have pretty much faded and she is no longer nearly as fat as she was when I first got her... so.... :WTF:

Sounds like they are stressing out...just my guess, but you may want to check the quality of the water....how long has the tank been up and running for?

Tank has been up and running for over a year, i'll test the water today...

Water parameters were as follows

Ph- 8.2
Amonia- 0ppm
Nitrite- 0ppm

Is my Ph too high? Because its about that straight out of the tap!

The other tank fish in the petshop tank vs. your tank could have made a difference. Aggression level difference perhaps? I would also give them more time to adjust.

give them a cave as in the petstore (Barnacle Bills) and make sure they have plenty of oxygen in the water, under gravel is good for this... and try feeding them frozen brine as that was what they were on...
