WTF! Where did these snails come from?!

So I sat down to look at the fish tank, and see some spots on the glass. So I get out of old algae scraper, but first I look at it...

and its SNAILS!

I have no idea where they came from.

I just set up the tank last Tuesday

I have no live plants (hell don't even have any artifical ones right now).

I only have 4 rocks in there as decoration... and all of those rocks were out of water for 1-2 years just sitting under my brothers aquarium. Thats is ALL the decoration i have in there at the moment (no money at the moment lol)

All I have in the tank (75 gallon) are 2 sen bichirs, 1 african knifefish (both came from petsmart), and one krib I just got last night (petco).

The sand in the tank came from lowes lol. just play sand.

none of the fish at the petstore that I got were kept with live plants.

how the hell did i get snails in my tank?
 
fish ate eggs or snails, and then pooped them out in your tank.
 
You can buy a supplement too kill them but they reproduce so fast it probably wont kill them all i had the same problem.Got mine with a live plant.
 
That sounds like a good plan!

What supplement? That word would have improved the snails' health.:ROFL:

No chemicals will be recommended.;) How are you going to remove all the snails when they die everywhere? Ammonia afterwards.:WHOA:
