that's is preety weird, but i would like to know how they get them to that shape, if they cut them or something of the nature, they might be getting a mail bomb some day soon.
 
It's a birth defect that crops up from time to time. Usually the pups don't survive. But, these large rays will probably have a decent life in the right tank. They're uncommon at this size so, it's a seller's market. You can pretty much ask what you want for it and someone will be willing to pay it for a "one-of".
 
That is crazy. I have never seen them like that. I have only seen them with a big notch in the front not like that though.

Wow thanks for the explaination. Really thought they were cut into that shape. Kinda glad to see it's natural.

That seller has a spotless feedback record. Do you have additional info or are you just spouting off for the sake of being heard?
