Having seen my berried females many times, these are a brownish tint with a thick gold stripe from head to tail and gold specks. Also have seen a few colors of green,yellow,orange. These are not guaranteed and could be based on substrate/light/food I been feeding Shirakura primarily and I believe does not have any color enhancement qualities.
Just fed the tank and the big mama gold stripey came out.
