for wtt is white britol board around the aquarium good enough for xback? what is good for bottom of the tank? i dont want to use sand or gravel

Some people use white ceramic tiles. Just remember to siphon under them once in a while.

I like tiles bottom tanks,but when you go to lift them up what a mess underneath.

do you guys think white light diffusers will work? it's a lot cheaper then ceramic tiles about 12cad a sheet.

anyways didn't want to create another thread. my aro has darkened significantly since i've had him. my makeshift wtt didn't seemed to do anything.i had white bristol board around my tank. i'm thinking i should just paint the whole tank black and try bring out gold. do you guys think it's a good idea? or just wait it out? both these are takened today. one with flash and one without.
