Am going to end up getting my new tank through these guys based on price mostly. But cheaper is definitely not always better. Does any1 have a horror story about these guys I should know?? Will place the order Monday giving me a few days for feedback!!
best way to avoid that really big shipping fee is by trying to catch them at a show close to your area....i dont think they charge nearly as much if u do that
I don't live anywere near any shows, so I called about having a 90 gallon acrylic shipped. The woman on phone said that 90 gallon acrylics don't ship well, and wouldn't last as long as glass. Said it would be about $280 by UPS if I wanted to "take the chance", no guarentees it would get to me in one piece.
She strongly suggested a glass tank, so I asked about shipping a glass tank. About $500 by truck, and I'd have to drive about 425 miles to pick it up (closest the trucking company came to my house!)
Their tanks seem like a GREAT deal if you live close to a show and can pick the tank up.
