Well ive kept my 6" Mystus wyckii catfish for just over 3 weeks now and he has always been very nervey around hand in the tank and feeding times, ive always had to drop his prawns or mussle in front of his tube where he hides, and wait for him to feed. today i did the same thing and he lunged at every piece and ate it very quickly.! Ive got to watch my fingers now or he'll break em! LOL

This is pretty common with these cats Mystus are very territorial so when it was first introduced is was un sure if it was in another cats area but after a few night time prowles to see if there are other fish in the area it sounds like he didn't find any other cats and has made your tank its teritory it will now become much more aggressive and more out going if you have any tankmates with it now is the time to start moveing them out or it will take care of them
