Just saw the trailer on imdb ... and wow. I know trailers are usually the best part of most movies, but this one was done well. Nice and dark. Looks promising. Of course, it doesn't take a whole lot to raise the superhero movie bar ...

Anyone else semi-excited?

Aye, Days of Future Past ... one of the biggest plot lines in the comic's history.
 
saw the trailer yesterday. looks decent. although I hate the xmen movies and think they suck, I liked xmen first class and felt it's the best of the xmen movies even though it wasn't great. but naked blue skinned mystique is enough to get me to watch this

tyrion is a villain in this movie too so that's a plus
 
Yes, I was very excited when he joined the cast. Adding him to Fassbender, McKellan, and Stewart show make for a good time. I just hope it doesn't fall through like pretty much all the other Xmen have.

so what i'm wondering is, since Xavier dies in the other xmen movies, i'm assuming this movie takes place before that battle with the phoenix? and i'm assuming this movie ties with the others since they use the same cast. you see iceman and rogue in the trailer being played by the same people, plus hally barry
 
No, because they referenced Wolvy dicing her in the last battle in the movie that shall not be named or acknowledged as an Xmen movie ... also, the after credits of that movie had Charles awakening to Moria, guessing a cloned body (Mr. Sinister is known for these in the comics, plus someone made 5 clones of Emma Frost at one point). could do without more Wolverine, but I'm very excited for the storyline and BISHOP. For some dumb reason, I really like Jubilee, but they still haven't put her in a movie. Rogue and Nightcrawler are my other favorites, along with Gambit. I would really like a stand-alone movie with Rogue and Ms. Marvel. Glad Havoc will be in the movie. Are Cable and Nimrod going to be in this one?
 
Yeah, I loved the begining of X2 because Nightcrawler was always my fav and I thought they did that very well.

Not sure on whom all they were added, been trying to avoid it to avoid spoilers.
