I unfortunately lost mine recently after I did a water change and have no clue why. I believe the city did something to the water cause both my xanthic fire eel and regular fire eel were fine the day before. But now I’m looking for another xanthic fire eel preferably in SoCal. If you got one please let me know.

Appreciate the reply but looking for local preferably. Someone has one by me that’s around 10” for $600 and I’m debating on it right now. But I got a buddy who’s about to get some in towards the end of this month so I might just wait for his to come in.
