Is the premium model an option? At the time of purchase it was the more expensive option. It came standard with wireless controllers and the cables for HD hook-up. I never had to send it in for the red ring problem. I have had it for roughly two and a half years and it has experienced light play. Half the games I either never played or very few hours had been played... Final Fantasy never played, Oblivion less than an hour, dead rising less than two hours.. etc..
