Xenentodon cancila (needlefish) and others PU only in central illinois

i have a 6 or 7 inch needlefish that needs a new home. pick up only from decatur il asking $10.

also i have several small 2 inch channel cats and bullhead catfish for 1$ a piece. got them to stock my pond and plans fell through. asking $1 per fish. also pick up only

free managuense (jaguar) cichlid fry. they are my main feeder source so no large amounts but if your in the area and would like a few im always up to share the monster fish love

I live in Edwardsville, IL.

I'm super interested, but I really don't have anything to bring him home with.
I have a 7 inch needlefish in my 75 gallon tank and I LOOOOVE him.

could I just use a 5G bucket? I'm worried about him bonking his beak on the ride home.

a five gallon would be fine for transport. if you put a towel over it to make it dark he shouldn't freak out too bad. . but i could get a couple large bags from the local fish store and he should be fine double bagged if that would be better. the bucket has to be very clean and only used for fish because if any soap or chemical residue will kill him easily. id be glad to put him in your 75 with yours a friend. private message me and we can set something up.
