okay. I have had my pom pom xenia for about 5 or 6 weeks now. It was doing great in my tank, pulsing and everything. Earlier today, I was doing a water top off and I have ALWAYS used tap water and the guy who gave me my frag always used tap water. I added some stress coat to the water and poured it in my tank. After about 10 minutes, i returned to the room to discover my xenia wasnt pulsing anymore. I left and came back 10 minutes later and it was laying on its side swiveling up like it was dying.

Any ideas on what i should do? the waer was perfectly fine and tested almost exactly as it had before. My eel and trigger are acting normal and so are my anemones.

mine does it too sometimes, i would start using RO maybe

xenia react drasticly to temp changes. maybe the temp dropped when the new water was added. but they(like all softies) will shrivel up once or twice daily. so id just give it time and take a look in a day or so.
