Hello All,
I picked up 8 F1 baby Xilo's back in January of this year, they were around or under 1". I got them from Ken Davis. I was curious how long it should take for them to start showing some color. They are all in the 3-4" range now with some faint hints of red in their fins but still plain colored overall. Ill try and get some pics up later.

Thanks!

Heres a thread from when i first got them.

If you have had them since january they should be a lot bigger My xilo got to 11" his first year. They will eventually fade to orange/white/yellow you never know what their adult coloration will be.

Here is a vid of my 11" male.

I am thinking I should get rid of half of them so there is less competition for food and maybe they will grow faster.

xinchavoc- how big was yours when you got it? Did you have more than one?

Thanks!
