Hi,

I thought I had a pair but today i noticed the male now has a white line on the dorsal which I thought mainly females have. The first 4 shots are of the one i thought was male and the 5th is the other fish I was sure was female. Any thoughts or impressions from some of you experienced pike guys and gals?

Do males get the pink belly too?
 
agreed...definitely looks to me like you have two females. normally that would be a good thing (IMO), but in this case it's not since you want a pair.
 
100% two females Jack! No doubt about that one man! Males will be olive drabbish in coloration and completely lacking any red coloration on their body.

They look quite nice! I'd hang on to that extra female! Two females and one male might work out nicely in a big enough of a tank! ;)
