bought some pikes today for 15 bucks ... i think it might be a pair... just wondering if anyone knows what types of pikes they are.. they're around 8 inches.. i noticed the female has a bulge on her stomach.. pregnant maybe?? the fish has some "peeling skin" on the head.. previous owner said it developed after they had "ike".. wut do you guys think it might be? he also mention that people has told him that it may be a parasite.. seems the pikes look healthy tho.. eating well and not stressing..

almost looks like it could be bad case of hith. probably from previous owner keeping them in bad water conditions. does the sore appear to be a depression or protrusion. depression probably means hith. just frequent water changes and some aquarium salt and a good diet and it should clear up if thats the case.

ya, that's weird, but i would treat it with salt, higher temp and parasite meds

what you need is salt, higher temp, lots of good clean water changes, hopefully your tank is cycled? a good staple like hikari gold with some market shrimp and silver sides.
