Do they all get a stripe? Why do some spangle more than others? A few have no or very little spangle on the upper half of their body. Does spangling signify Male or Female?

I have been thinking the same thing Ken. I would say they are big enough to pull out and see for yourself. I think the brighter are female and the darker are males thus far.

HCR, your theory makes sense cuz I do have bright ones and dark ones. I thought the dark ones were because I housed them in a bad tank but they are in the same tank now and the darkness remains. I'm not a fish fondler and don't care to spawn these so I'll just keep observing. This spangle theory came up when Huey and I talked. I maybe going down the wrong path guys. I'll keep you all posted. Either way I got some of each.

I'm going to say the ones the bellies that dip down are female and thr ones with the bellies more outward then dip down males. Females dip becuase they female sexual tract takes of more of their body then males, if u get what I'm saying lol
