XL Pellegrini Pleco L-095-Northern VA

I was in Annandale Super Pets in Annandale, VA today and they have a very nice L-095 Pseudorinelepis genibarbus "Pellegrini Pleco". It had to be close to 12" and they were asking $189 for it. The fish pictured is not the actual one for sale but they were very similar. Hope someone in the DC/NOVA area goes and gets that guy. I thought they were banned from importation but I guess not. Just wanted to let everyone know it was there.

They also had a sabertooth tetra and these so called "ruby red" arowana.

i believe pellegrino plecos are mostly carnivorous. not sure about the price but i've seen them go for much more than that. any rare large pleco is going to be $$.

L095/orange cheek pleco is not that uncommon. all the one i have seen are big. as a reference, i got a 12" one yesterday from that pet place in lancaster, pa. for $129 minus 20% coupon.

in person. they have some small scarlets if anyone is looking. ask for Craig-nice guy, one of the supervisers there.
he is going to order another one and a large sunshine for me next week.
