well im just putting 1 thing of xmas moss in there on my driftwood, and not running co2, is that okay? and how much lighting for just hta plant do u recommend in a day? i can run 2 40 watt bulbs a peice or i can run 4 40 watt bulbs?

mosses in general can do with pretty low light. since your using normal output bulbs, id say you can get away with 4x bulbs. give it a try and see what happens

okay but not having co2 wil lthat cause algea? with the 4 bulbs it will be 160 watts, how long sohuld i run a day 10 hrs with just one plant?

no, not having co2 is not a cause for algae. there are tons of great tanks out there w/o co2. you just have to balance it with your lighting. if you overdo the lighting, youll get algae. try 8-10 hours. just a little bit of moss is not even considered a 'planted tank', so youre not running the same nutrient levels in the water

okay cool, do you also reocmmend i dump liquid nutriants i have into the tank or none at all? also how do you tie it to the drift wood, does somne of the plant have to be in the sunstrate and other have on driftwood?

i wouldnt add any ferts until you plant it more heavily. it will be unnecessary. i tied it to wood or rocks using sewing thread. and no, doesnt go in the substrate

well im running a p tank so rest will be plastic plants just like the nice moss look, so hopefulyl it will have enough nutriants without the liquid nutriants
