Anyone else having this kind of nightmare today???
I purchased a brand new 20" BMX bike, and an electric scooter for my 8 yr old son. in my frugal ways, i decided not to part with an extra $10 each to have them assembled at the store. I mean, how hard could it REALLY be, right? should just be a couple screws, and good to go, right. DEAD WRONG!
so about 6 hours, several band-aids, 2 dogs hiding under the table scared, and many words i shouldent be using on xmas day, i have a bike that im fairly confident will hold my kid up, and a scooter that works great, but has a god awful noise coming from the front brake that i just cant seem to adjust out.
why do they feel the need to make these things so freaking hard to assemble, with intructions and drawings my 4 year old could have written and drawn better using a crayola crayon????? i swear, its all to ruin an otherwise enjoyable day for the parents, it really is.....
