I have a used FX 3 for sale. Asking $100, used it for a couple of days but the humming sound disrupted my sleep. Just want to get rid of this or maybe swap with an Eheim 2217.

before selling, you should try fixing. I have had several XP3's running for over a year and they do not hum at all.

some people are more sensitive to slight noises.... i know i couldnt sleep with a filter in my room although it was called a "whisper" so i just moved the tank
