So I tore down my growout tank a few weeks ago and have just had my XP2 sitting around. I have been debating as to whether I should add it to the tank for down-low cleaning power, or to the sump for extra mechanical polishing. Then, while doing my w/c and vac, realizing that I was wasting water trying to vac up all that dang pleco poo, it struck me- one-up eheim's electric gravel vac and hook up the XP2! This gives me super flow: way better than the siphon tube, and does and excellent job of cleaning.
