I think Im an idiot or Im missing something really simple. Did a big clean up on the xp3, and now that its set back up the output is still shooting a good stream of water, just half bubbles. I have rechecked and re rechecked all connections, disconnected, primed it again, a million times and cannot get it to go back to how it has always been. Any thoughts, please??

sometimes it just gets air into it and it takes some time to work it all out.

try tipping the filter back a bit, the air will go up and out the tubes.

also, unplug for a few seconds, the air goes up, and plug back in. that tends to shoot it out a lot too.

often, mine will shoot out some fine bubbles for a few hours after cleaning, after that it should be back to normal.

if not, double check the main seal and the seal where the aqua stop is.

I have found sometimes that by releasing and re sealing the aquastop (where the hoses come out) this sometimes helps. sometimes this is the source of the air leak.

hope this helps.

Haha no...
No airstones in tanks, had part of intake out of water, where the small pieces connect, when I moved the hoses over there was a small gap. I was looking in the wrong areas. Over while at the same time definitely under-thinking.
