xray tetra has huge stomach

Hi,
I have an xray tetra that recently started developing a huge stomach. It's eating but seems to have a little trouble swimming. Just wondering if it's pregnant or sick. Here are some links to some pics.

Does it poo? If so, how does the poo look? The abdomen is far too protruded for it to be full of eggs. It is dropsy. What are your water parameters? What does it eat and how often?

It is indeed dropsy. I have him in a hospital tank and following the recommended remedy located on this forum. Let's hope for the best for the little guy.
