XXL blood parrots

My mom's favorite fish is the blood parrot. We have several of them, but have only had one come close to the MONSTER size that I've seen some achieve.

How long do they take to reach that size/are they all capable of reaching that size?

Also, does anyone know of a distributor who sells them at this size (6"+)?

search for king kong parrots or mammon. I don't know of anybody who sells them

If givin proper space and care in 2 years you will have a big one, males get the biggest.

i agree. they are slow growers, but 2years sounds about right. not all will get huge either...

I love ours...he is absolutely the coolest fish in our tank and tons of personality. We have had him for 3 yrs or so and went from an inchling to almost 8"

Happybreed.com has pictures of big Mammon and red ingots they only sell in bulk orders and all fish come with certificates. I never really owned a parrot before but I have a female atm she is a kkp.
