Just wondering how hard it would be to sell Christmas Fulu fry? Considering buying a large breeding colony but with the recent problems I have had with the breeding setup I am tight for cash. Looking for opinions or interest.

Oh hell yeah!!! Seriously man, these guys would sell. The christmas fulus are badass. Sell me some.

Where are the ruby greens? :irked:

tydus the Ruby Greens are still at Jims. Was waiting til I had a tank setup special for them. I need to call on them tomorrow.

The Christmas Fulu are probably the hottest Vic on the market. I just wasn't sure if I should get the colony or not.

Most of the xystichromis species are very high in demand and rare like the dayglows, fulus, kyoga flamebacks, etc. I just wish my kyogas came in. It still makes me sad thinking about it. Hopefully, I get the other ones. Hurry up with the ruby greens, it has taken forever...... before I snatch them from Jim. :naughty:

Never seen any xystichromis in Canada. Wish I could get some of the fulus or any of the species really :(. For now I have to be content with my ruby greens and my not quite victorian astatotilapia latifasciata.

Ruby greens are still very beautiful nonetheless. Hope you get your hands on some xystichromis species.

I think they would sell OK. In my opinion, you r probably not gonna strike it rich selling just those, but would be a bad addition to a blooming business either. My best advise is to watch aquabid and see what they are going for. Compare the price and base your decision off of that.

Being one of the first to sell them is great. If you jump on too late then everyone who wants them will have them and the price will drop greatly. As fish become more available the demand will fall off... If you get them let us know... I mean you do have the space. If you get them since you want them then that is fine, but if you are look for long term profit... You never know with fish...

:iagree: The fulus are an endangered species, so knowing that you are keeping and breeding them means a alot. You are helping an endangered species out by distributing them out to people who will then again breed and and distribute them like a cycle to make the fulus available in the hobby. So, if I were you I would still get them.
