Here's pics of my Modesta Loaches. I've had these five for approximately six years. Modestas are a really buffed up Loach & are unbelievable scavengers. Never a fear of overfeeding.
These Loaches tend to be a little underrated and I don't see them for sale very often.
Thought the Loach enthusiasts might enjoy viewing.

How big do those beauties get? I've never seen them and I really like them. And also if you don't mind me asking, where did you get them?

My largest Modesta might be a little over five inches. The other four are just a little smaller. They don't grow very fast.
I bought them as juveniles from my LFS. They aren't available very often here, but I occasionally see them for sale on line. The Modestas are often labeled as Red Tail Loaches or Blue Botias.
