You could have had a more enjoyable evening if you went to your LFS and picked up a new 10g for $7.00

Look on craigslist for something around 30g(29g)

They can usually be had at yardsales with EVERYTHING for under $20 and its a much nicer home to anything than a 10g and it opens your options greatly.

Just my opinion.

Better yet, build a plywood tank and make the 10g your filter!

just kidding. You could make a nice little puffer tank as stated previously, but your options dont expand much more than that...

the oscar in my avatar is mine its like 4 months old

it looks different know the color on his chest is gone but the o0ther color is brighter hes a great fist

do some africans or like if u like community u could do a pair of sailfin mollies

Sailfins need more space than a 10G IME. A small planted tank would look really good. Look for Orange Hatchet fish, Badis badis (Scarlet badis), sparkling gouramis, pencilfish, killis, etc. Many of these do really good in small planted tanks. The first three all max at less than 1.5".

i actually really want to do the puffers but are there any loaches or eel type things like koolies that can live with them in that tank
