Don't use salt thats just an old wives tale and doesnt really do anything
and if your fish are freshwater they don't need salt anyway and it can actually harm them to so don't add it to their tank. And my friends' betta died after she put in Betta Fix. She looked onlnie later to figure out what she'd did and then found all these people whose fish have died. I don't get how they can sell it if it can cause fish to have trouble breathing and die!
