Picked up this diy acrylic tank for $30 with the light. It can't be filled all the way to the top yet (holes at top). I'm debating between having a fish tank on my floor as an indoor pond after giving it a wooden base, frame, and top...or building a stand for it. Measures 50x23x23. Hmmmmmm....

I also picked up enough sand to fill it at $5 a bag but some of it is saltwater sand so I'm not sure if that'd be safe for freshwater. Pretty excited! I love yard sales...

Also picked up another diy acrylic tank 48x12x12 for $5. :D Keeping it for a project.

If its crushed coral you can use it just beware it will buffer your water pretty hard. so great if you want to keep african cichlids or hard water species. not so great if you want amazonian delicates ect...

If your going to brag about scoring this tank, you cant just post pics of the empty tank. You also must post pics of the finished tank set up :) Please?
