Anyone have Yashia Shrimp Goby Paired with Red Banded Pistol Shrimp? If so please show me pictures and are they hard to mantain?

Oh my gosh, haha ok nevermind. I saw your heading and didn't notice your actual question below it!

LOL. Ok to answer briefly, yes they do execptionally well when paired with Pistol Shrimp and you can often find them offered for sale together with a pistol shrimp. These two have a simbiotic relationship (of unconventional sorts), and when a pistol shrimp is absent, you can expect your goby to burrow "tunnels" in the sand bed, which is good for you because it keeps the substrate well turned. These Goby's are relatively easy to maintain, they are reef safe and pretty docile - and so with that in mind, adding them to an agressive tank is not advised. A simple carni. diet will work just fine, and with ones I have kept in the past, they took well to frozen foods like brine shrimp and mysis, some plankton and krill. They are pretty hardy and low key, but they are jumpers so make sure your tank is "escape proof" as much as you can! LOL. You need to make sure they have a nice THICK sandy bed to stay in, because they do bury themselves and burrow. One thing though is that they can get pretty territorial, so if you are going to add other bottom dwellers, I would suggest adding the Yashia first so that they can "make their claim" first, otherwise you might have a few battles on your hands in the beginning. Anything else?

Thanks i really like this pair but their quite expensive! Do you no any other gobies that burry themsleves?

Yea there are a few such as:

Yellow Rose (Antenna) Goby

Diamond/Orangespotted Sleeper Goby

Dragon Goby

Watchman Goby

Zebra Goby

...And more...

And when it comes to the Yashia/Pistol Shrimp pair, what are you considering expensive? Here is a link, they are sold together, and it's pretty reasonable if you tae into consideration that you probably wont find the Goby sold alone for less than $50.
