I went on a little day trip to Sherwood Forest on Sunday and on the way home I stopped at a fish shop in Nottingham. I was soooooo pleased to find a little female Dovii waiting for me! :D
I took my lovely little lady home and soon after she was introduced to my 180g, my Jag, Diego started behaving quite oddly. He built himself a little nest in the corner and started pushing the oscars away! Here are some pics!

I have seen people mix jags and oscars with doviis before,apparently it seems to work out pretty good.Good purchase too by the way,can't wait until I get a dovii,when I do a pond set up.Trying to easily look for 3400 liters for the dovii and maybe something else.I really hope others wont think there would be issues with having the dovii in the 180 with the rest of the Cichlids.
 
That male dwarfs her! Nice pick up too. I guess you'll have some fry soon if the Jag has his way. Good luck with them! All the other tankmates will probably be limited to one side of the tank if the Jag and Dovii breed. But you should have some good looking hybrids.
 
Wow I just got my first Dovii today too he's a male though lol...
Congrats I heard they are amazing I can't wait to watch him grow
 
Thanks everyone!!! I'm really pleased with her and can't wait to see her develop! She is about 7 inches at the moment! I have been so lucky to have such tame fish and hopefully they all stay well behaved! She doesn't seem to boisterous yet, she's basically the ***** of the tank at the moment, but we will see as she grows bigger! ;)

P.s... I love Parachromis!!!!

Nice fish miss Peach! If he's digging a pit then he's definately trying to win her over. This time last year, I added a female wolf to the tank and the big male jag dug like there was no tomorrow. I have one little Jagovii left ;)
