i get my 45 or 46 gal. tank tomorrow. i want to get the 46 bowfront because it is 3 inches wider. i have a Q about that though. in the 46 bow front, is it 15in. at the sides or in the middle? i other words, aree bow fronts wider in the middle and skinnier at the sides? if any1 has a 46 bow front, how wide is it at the sides?

a little research would def. help you out. Bowfronts will definetely set you back quite a bit more than the standard 45 gallon, but I admit that they do look really nice.
Personally I do not like the looks of bows because they distort the look and size of the fish. I would rather have a regualr tank. I do not like all the fancy shapes and curves they all seem to make it look wierd. Just my opinion.
